Hero Factor: Hein featuring Sias

This was one of the first days that the wind really started to pick up, and I mean pick up. Hein and Sias got some big air moves, I did not capture all the “big ones” ,I was to too slow. But I tried to make this video give a glimpse of what happens that day.
Note these are not professional athletes.

I am still using my Panasonic MX 500. I am learning new camera angles, paying around to find great shots. Planning on getting myself a Helmet Camera (bullet cam), any advice?

This is an excerpt cut from the hours of footage shot during the filming of my Kite Jumper Documentary. Featuring Jake Scrace. in his attempt to be the first man to clear all three piers in one run. From Worthing in West Sussex to Brighton in East Sussex with the derilict West pier in the middle at Hove.
The attempt was abandoned after clearing the first pier as the storm intesified. Having scoped out Brighton the previous day Jake decided to wait for better conditions. As we packed up our gear that day. We were unaware that Lewis Crathern, Headed out and stole the thunder by jumping Brighton first. Jake was devestated. So as a tribute to Jake. This is a first look at a spectacular achievement. When Jake picks the next spot you can be sure we will be there.

Kitesurfing or Kiteboarding is an adventure surface water sport that has been described as combining wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, and gymnastics into one extreme sport. Kitesurfing harnesses the power of the wind to propel a rider across the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard (similar to a wakeboard).

The terms kiteboarding and kitesurfing are interchangeable. There are a number of different styles of kiteboarding, including freestyle (most common and utilises standard kite and board), wake-style (flatter water using board with bindings) and wave-riding which is focused on big waves using a board designed for wave riding.
